Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Cranley, currently mayor of Cincinnati, tweeted: “For decades we have locked up mostly black and brown men for possession of a drug that we knew was less harmful than the alcohol. It is time for us to change that. # Let’s legalize it and reinvest this income in our communities. “
