Associate Project Administrator Thriving Local Health Center Strategy (TLHCS) Project – Philippines

This position will work with the Director of Operations in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, equipment and services that Americares Philippines needs to operate. He/she will typically work with vendors, vendors, and other third-party service providers to ensure the business gets the best possible value.

This position will work with the project coordinator in Veruela, Agusan del Sur to improve maternal health outcomes. S/he will serve as the focal point for Americares in the municipality of Veruela to ensure that all plans, programs and activities are defined in the municipality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Purchasing and General Services Management
  • Assist in arranging transportation activities and program vehicle demand
  • Collect and review quotes using the Bid Benchmarking Framework (BCA)
  • Review requisition and purchase order information to ensure compliance with Americares sourcing policy
  • Coordinate with other departments such as, but not limited to, programs, finance, and drug access/warehouse department
  • Maintain records of quotes, offers and help generate list of accepted vendors
  • Coordinate with vendors to review product samples (in coordination with the requesting program), discuss delivery schedules, and resolve with the Quality Control team the quality or quantity of goods
  • Interact with suppliers and vendors to ensure orders are fulfilled and on time
  1. Administrative
  • Facilitate the shipment of supplies and equipment to the project area

  • Conduct an appropriate and efficient filing system of all administrative and clerical transaction documents

  • Assist in liaison of letters of communication and other related coordination in project areas as required
